Practice Days From NOW Until Further Notice: Mondays at Father Redmond (400m track), Thursdays at Christ the King (200m track)

Practice days from NOW until further notice will be at the following locations on the following days:

  • MONDAYS: 400-meter track at Father Redmond (Ken Cox) next to Humber College at 6:30pm
  • THURSDAYS: 200-meter track at Christ the King School near Brown’s Line and Lakeshore next to the No Frills (yellow store)

  • From 401 East or West: Hwy 427 south to Brown’s Line, Brown’s Line South to end (at Lakeshore Blvd), Left of Lakeshore Blvd – 500m approx – school is on left next to the Loblaws No Frills Store and behind the church.
  • From Toronto Gardiner QEW: Brown’s Line Exit south to end at (Lakeshore Blvd), Brown’s Line south to end (at Lakeshore Blvd), Left of Lakeshore Blvd – 500m approx – school is on left next to the Loblaws No Frills Store and behind the church.
  • From Mississauga QEW: QEW East to Exit on right to Evan’s Avenue (just past Dixie Rd Exit on opposite north side), Evan’s Avenue to Brown’s Line south, Brown’s Line south to end (at Lakeshore Blvd), Left of Lakeshore Blvd – 500m approx – school is on left next to the Loblaws No Frills Store and behind the church.

The permit for use of the Father Redmond 400-meter track (Ken Cox C.C.) on Mondays is not in our hands yet.

New Venue As Of May 1st, 200-meter Track at Christ the King School, Until Further Notice

As of Tuesday May 1st, TISC will be using the 200-meter track at Christ the King School. We will not return as a club for practices to Father Redmond Track until permit issues have been resolved.

  • Tuesday & Thursday practices will now be held at the Christ the King School 200m track
  • 3674 Lakeshore Boulevard West, Toronto, Ontario, M8W 1N6
  • This track is a few blocks further West on Lakeshore Boulevard from the Father Redmond Track

DIRECTIONS

Fair Weather, Smooth Track, Good Turn-Out: Season Starts Up Successfully

The Toronto Inline Skating Club kicked off its 2012 campaign with a good practice earlier this evening.

A strong core of experienced skaters were joined by a dash of new skaters. Together, all these skaters will form groups that will act a spring-board for working together to build and improve technique, racing strategy & tactics, fitness, and camaraderie.


2012 Season Kicks Off April 3rd

TISC will kick off its 2012 season on April 3rd at 6pm at the 400-meter track at Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive next to Humber College at Lakeshore and Kipling.

Practices will be held 6pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays (6:30pm May to August, back to 6pm in September).

Additional information, including forms for membership, information, insurance, and waiver will be posted after the Annual General Meeting at the end of March.

TISC is planning on delivering three programs, including Kids, Fitness, and Racing.
