TISC skaters- great results at the Ottawa Inline Skating Festival

TISC skaters were out in force at the annual Ottawa Inline Skating Festival. The race was part of the NROC- a North American race series.

Morgane Echardour, Candy Wong, and Shannon Hegarty all found their way to the podium. Echardour won the 21km & finished 2nd in the 10km, 42km, & Triple Crown, Hegarty was 3rd in the 42km and 10km, and Candy Wong was third in the 21km and in the Triple Crown.

On the men’s side, Michael Burke was 2nd in the Open Triple Crown.

Peter Doucet swept all three distances- the 10km in a field sprint, the marathon on a breakaway after chasing down a long & early break by Stephane Tremblay, and the 21km in a sprint with Sergio Almeralla & Adrian Loewen.

Leo Frusteri placed 2nd in the 10km and Morgan Williams was 3rd in the marathon.
