There will be an RSO Series: http://rsoseries.wordpress.com/
I believe dates for Provincials are being worked out. As soon as I find anything, I’ll share it here and on SpeedSkateWorld.com plus rollersports.ca
Hi,
My son is currently an 11 year old speed skater. I have heard through the grapevine that he can join TISC and rent his inline speed skates. We were going to purchase some, but it would make life easier if this year, there were skates he could rent. Is this possible? Can he come out on Thursday and possibly Tuesday?
Is there any focus on teaching the speed skaters to help keep their technique and form for the ice?
Thanks,
Kathy
Hi Kathy- the program at TISC deals with technique that is similar to short track speed skating. Our coaches have a background in coaching short track speed skating.
Your son can come out to TISC and try it out- we have the rental skates on site. If you need to rent them after you’ve tried them, it’s a requirement that renters be members of the club. Rentals are $100 for the season, or $50 if used less that one month.
