TISC skater and coach extraordinaire Aaron Arndt, from Brampton, will be hosting a clinic in Toronto this Saturday.
Show up!! Spread the word, tell your friends and bring them (and their skates).
‘Why??‘ you ask?
Because it’s not expensive, you’ll learn a lot, you’ll get a good workout, you’ll hang out with Toronto skaters, and best of all, you’ll support someone who puts a lot into the Toronto inline skating scene. You can find all the important details here.
Mark your calendars. The Toronto Inline Skating Club willl be having its 2008 open house on Sunday April 6th at the Scooter’s Roller Palace (for directions or Scooters Indoor Speed for a peek at what we’ve been playing at all winter). The open house will start after the RSO Indoor Series at about 10:30am. At the open house, you’ll be able to:
Hope to see you there. Bring friends. Heck, come early and check out the racing.
Welcome to the 2008 Season of the Toronto Inline Skating Club. Here’s brief summary of the latest news items:

Website news: The website has been moved! The old website and old forum contents are still accessible though using these links:
We will keep the old site operational for now. The website and our forums will be gradually phased out over the next 4 to 6 months. If there’s any information you need or want from there, please make a copy of it for your own records. In the meantime, we’d like to urge all of our current and new users to transfer their accounts over to our new provider ezBoard/Yuku. If you have an existing ezBoard account (i.e. the same one used at Bont) you can use the same account to login to the new [TISC messageboards].
As the club evolves and grows, many of our volunteers have also been evolving and growing. Those who were webmasters, photographers and writers are now becoming race organizers, coaches and professionals in this community. 2008 will be the 16th year of operation for TISC! The club is still growing, still expanding and the crew of volunteers that run this club (old and new) are still learning. One of the tasks that got little attention last season was our website, mainly due to the complexity and difficulty of keeping it organized and updated. To simplify that process for our webmaster(s) and writers, the site has been re-vamped using [WordPress] technology.
We are looking forward to another great season. Won’t you join us for a skate?
